Job Description
 

Interpret customer needs into product solutions, identify engineering trade-offs to customers and explain data specification limits and implications, assist in initiating design concepts with design groups, create new applications and markets for existing products, present new product suggestions, provide technical training to sales engineers, distributors and customers, extensive travel in Northern Europe appx 30% of time.

Skills

Presentable, professional and ambitious, high degree of communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers in a constructive and professional manner, good relationship builder, attention to detail and reliable.  Able to work alone or as part of a team.

Tech Quals

Degree or above in Electronics or related discipline, ideally with emphasis on power electronics

Ideal Profile
 

A talented Field Applications Engineer with a good background in analogue electronics.  Ideally a minimum of five years design experience with high voltage switch mode power supplies.  Consideration will be given to a Design Engineer looking to move into a more commercial environment.

Salary package

c£35,000-45,000 + bonus appx 15% + car allowance + benefits
