Job Description |
Defining the scope of the proposed project. Preparing the project document including negotiating and clarifying
user requirements, scope and specification, resource requirements, commercial benefits to the company etc. Act as design consultant to customers providing cost saving ideas and suitable technical
initiatives, visit customers when required, liaise with third parties as required franchise suppliers/outsource suppliers etc, Directing, guiding, managing, measuring, monitoring and developing the

Skills |
Outgoing manner and presentable, able to guide, direct, motivate and manage yourself and others around you, ability to
set monitor and meet own/company targets and deadlines, able to work on own initiative, be fully conversant in all MS office applications, experience of MS project or associated software an advantage. A good
working knowledge of electronic components and applications, a reasonable knowledge and understanding of customers and applications within the electronic components industry, ability to "design in" the
product range to develop new business with the sales team, commercial awareness of factors affecting profitability of the company. |
Tech Quals |
A technical/professional qualification ideally HNC/HND level or above |
Ideal Profile |
This position would suit a Project Engineer with some commercial experience or an Applications Engineer with a minimum
of two years experience in a similar role, some evidence of successful people management capability, track record of delivering projects on time, on cost for the customer and the company. |

c£30,000 + commission + benefits |
